Pickering Horse Centre offers English riding lessons with a focus on hunter, jumper, and equitation.
- all instructors and coaches are certified by Equine Canada
- emphasis on solid basics and good horsemanship
- extensive programs for our more advanced riders
- safety of both rider and horse is emphasized at all levels
- over 20 well-behaved experienced school horses
- adult group lessons for all levels
- students that would like to ship their own horse in for lessons are also welcome Students at the Pickering Horse
Centre have the opportunity to participate in a variety of additional activities along with their lessons such as:
- in house schooling shows
- open schooling shows
- Equine Canada rider level testing
- extra horsemanship and riding sessions as part of
our Horsemanship Club
We
also offer leasing opportunities for lesson students looking to further
develop their riding and experience having their own horse without the
initial cost of purchase. This also gives students the
opportunity to participate with our show team competing on the Trillium
circuit.
