NOW ACCEPTING REGISTRATION FOR LESSONS AND CAMPS

March Break Camp

March 12 - 16, 2012
Full Day: 9:00 - 3:30 - $60 per day
Half Day:  9:00 - 12:00 or 12:30 - 3:30 - $35 per day

Campers can sign up for a full day or half day each day.  Campers will have one structured lesson per day as well as participate in horse related arts and crafts, theory, and games.  Each day will have unique theme for the lessons and theory such as "Gymkhana" where campers play games on horseback or "Build your own Course" Day where campers will learn to organise jumps or poles and make up their own course.

The Pickering Horse Centre Summer Horse Camp offers a Family-oriented atmosphere,
Excellent Indoor & Outdoor Facilities
Sessions run from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm**
Catering to children from 6-15 years of age
Beginner to Advanced

Campers receive two structured lessons daily. Beginner riders are taught with the emphasis on sound basics of equitation and good horsemanship. For the more intermediate/advanced rider, we offer a more extensive program which allows riders to continue developing their riding skills in order to meet higher goals.

Campers also participate in horse themed arts and crafts, games, and theory sessions.  We have a gymkhana day each session where campers have the chance to play games on horseback which is a highlight of the week for many.  Parents are invited to watch the campers ride in their lessons on the last day of each camp session so campers can show off what they've learned!

Campers work in a safe and friendly environment with supervision at all times. All lessons at the Pickering Horse Centre are taught by Equine Canada Certified Intructors and Coaches.
